EyeFocus is a mobile tablet application, developed by Animorph Co-operative and clinical partners at the University of East Anglia, that harnesses machine learning to track the eye movements of stroke survivors suffering from spatial inattention, a condition affecting around 1/3 of stroke survivors for over a year post-injury.
Animorph received funding from the NIHR Invention for Innovation (i4i) Programme to develop EyeFocus in its final phase of securing medical device status. Orion will play a pivotal role in the project by providing ongoing commercialisation consultancy services. This collaboration includes organising PPIE (Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement) workshops, with support from the NIHR Brain MIC, ensuring that the project aligns closely with the needs and experiences of patients and the wider community.
